PET DENTAL CARE

Pet Dental Care & Dental Surgical Services

Station Plaza Veterinary GroupPreventive care for your pet is crucial to target potential problems before they become serious. Providing your pet with routine dental care does more than brighten your pet's smile - it is essential to prevent illness. While pet dental work is often associated with preventing bad breath, it is actually a very serious component of caring for your pet. Dental disease affects up to 80% of pets more than 3 years old. Quality dental care will help prevent serious ailments such as heart disease, liver abnormalities, and immune-system disorders.

We offer full dental wellness care that can be tailored to the individual needs of your pet. When your pet is brought in for a dental exam, we will check for:

  • Jaw injury
  • Fractured teeth
  • Abscesses or cancerous growths
  • Gingivitis or halitosis
  • Damage to enamel
  • Tartar build up

In addition to professional cleaning, we offer tooth extraction and other dental procedures. We can also teach you how to care for your pet's dental health at home, by checking for gingivitis and calculus build-up. When problems are caught early, we can prevent further damage and help maintain a healthy mouth for your pet.

The best veterinary group out there! Thanks for always being kind and helpful. -- Mary Drew
