Specialized Care for Your New Puppy or Kitten

Station Plaza Veterinary GroupBring a new pet into your home means you're adding a new member to your family, and everyone at Station Plaza knows this is an exciting and important time. We are look forward to helping you ensure your new pet's healthy development.

We recommend providing your pet with booster shots that we will discuss with you at your first visit. We recommend heartworm and Lyme tests at 6 months and spaying or neutering between 6 and 7 months.

When bringing your pet in for the first time, also bring in a fecal sample (a plastic bag will do) and a list of questions for our professional staff to answer. Also kindly bring any medical or adoptions records you may have.

Is your pet the adventurous type? You may want to consider microchipping.

Microchipping is a quick and simple procedure that can help pets return home if they loose their way. The microchip is as small as a grain of rice and is implanted under the skin by injection. It is a form of permanent ID that cannot be removed. Registering your information with the Home Again also gives you access to the poison control hotline in case of any emergency.

The best veterinary group out there! Thanks for always being kind and helpful. -- Mary Drew
